Happy New Year! We are so excited to see all of the smiling faces back on campus. The new year brings exciting new activities and a chance for our students and teachers to feel inspired to create new projects and ideas.
IMPORTANT DATES
The end of the third Unit of Inquiry and our first semester are rapidly approaching. The final day of this semester is January 26th. As always, Presentation Day will take place on the final Thursday, which will be on January 25th.
Don't forget that January 29th is a national holiday in celebration of the birth of Juan Pablo Duarte. There will not be classes on that day.
First-semester report cards will go out on February 9th and Parent-Student conferences will take place the week of February 19-23.
EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Join us on Thursday, February 1st at 4:00 pm at the ISLA Academy campus. The entire community is welcome to attend our event, "The Path to University", where we will outline ISLA Academy's unique college-preparatory high school curriculum, explain the incredible array of elective class opportunities available to our students, and give students and families a year-by-year explanation of what you can be doing to prepare for the university application process.
I’ve seen many luxury property websites focus heavily on visuals while providing very little insight into the lifestyle and atmosphere surrounding the homes themselves. What caught my attention while reading through Originn estate was the sense that the properties are presented within a larger vision of living in Marrakech rather than simply being marketed individually. In cities with fast-growing real estate sectors, buyers often need much more context before understanding which areas truly fit their expectations. That balance between investment potential and everyday quality of life becomes especially important in a place as dynamic as Marrakech.
