We are getting so close to the end of another wonderful school year. Please mark your calendars with the dates below for events and school happenings! As always, you will find our official academic calendar on our website, too.
May-June Last Weeks of School events:
Thursday, May 31: Corpus Christi Day - No School. This is a national holiday and there will be NO CLASSES. However, we will hold regular classes on the next day, Friday, June 1.
Friday, June 8: ISLA Sports Day. More information will be sent out soon.
Tuesday, June 12: Preschool and Phases 1-4 will hold an internal Presentation Day. While parents are always allowed to attend, the focus of this event will not be on parent demonstration. Instead, more students will have an opportunity to share their work with their fellow classmates.
Wednesday, June 13: Dress rehearsal for our final performance
Thursday, June 14: Phase 5 and 6 Presentation Day. Unlike other Presentation Days, this one will focus only on the older students. Each one of them will present. All parents are welcome to attend.
Friday, June 15: Final Performance Day. On our last day of the year, we will celebrate with performances from all of our students. There will be music, dance, drama, and more. Come check out the amazing talent we have. In addition, final academic awards will be given out.
Wednesday, June 20: 2nd Semester Report Cards are sent out
Monday, June 25: Summer Camp begins. Join us for a three week Summer Day Camp at ISLA Academy.
Je trouve que les vêtements d’intérieur sont souvent sous-estimés alors qu’ils font partie des pièces qu’on utilise le plus régulièrement à la maison. Après plusieurs essais avec différentes marques, j’ai compris qu’un peignoir confortable dépend surtout de la qualité des matières et de la façon dont il reste agréable après plusieurs lavages. En consultant Mariner peignoir, j’ai apprécié le côté assez intemporel des modèles proposés, avec des coupes simples qui semblent faciles à porter au quotidien. Finalement, ce sont souvent les vêtements les plus confortables et les plus pratiques qui restent utilisés pendant des années sans vraiment se démoder.
